Increase in Year-End Cash Dividend
In a meeting of the Board of Directors held today, January 26, 2005, Promise Co., Ltd. (Promise), decided to propose a 5.00 yen increase in its year cash dividend for the fiscal year ending March 2005 at the 44th annual shareholders' meeting, which the Company plans to hold in June 2005. Details are as follows.
1. Reason for increasing dividend Based on its capital and business alliances with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc., Promise is in the process of taking advantage of and establishing new sources of income. In recognition of the ongoing support of its shareholders, the Company has decided to increase the year-end cash dividend through a 5.00 yen commemorative cash dividend, raising the total year-end dividend to 55.00 yen.
2. FY2005 cash dividends per share (April 1, 2004—March 31, 2005)
